Since I don't do street photography now but interested to try.

What is your response and comments?

I'm interested in what you think.

The link doesn't address the topic we are discussing.

This one is more on target:

http://erickimphotography.com/blog/2011/01/are-there-any-ethics-in-street-photography/

For everybody “ethics” means something else. If you ask an lawyer what “ethics” means, he or she would probably bust out a legal book and give you a very lengthy and official answer. However ask it to the average person, and they would give you an answer which co-incited with their personal upbringing/culture/heritage.

...and this thread below, that reaffirms ethics (i.e., photographing homeless) is a personal thing and varies by person.

I've been around too many "holier than thou" types my whole life only to find out their true being later.

Yes, but I was very careful in my initial wording to note: But the OP's photo is not impressive to me in the first post as it seemed more like he was posting the image because the homeless person made the OP's composition better. That's unfortunate to me, but this is just my feelings on the topic.

I don't think my critique has run counter to what you're posting at all. And I certainly don't understand the "holier than thou" reference as part of your response to me. Are you suggesting that you are arguing with "holier than thou" types or are you just creating a straw man?
