Canadian Penny - Dead

before the $1 & $2 coins, I got in the habit of taking all change in my pockets at the end of the day and throwing it into a jar for a "rainy day". Now, with the Loonie & Toonie (slang for the $1 & $2 coins), it adds up fast! I just paid for a family vacation totally out of saved coins (about $3000 for the year). The habit and discipline to not dip into the coin jar can really pay off.

BTW, didja know that Canadian "paper" money is now being made of plastic? Weird feeling stuff.
