On-location lighting system.

I am interested in on-location portraiture and am looking at a battery lighting outfit. Ac outlets would be impossible at most of the locations.

The Elinchrom Ranger Quadra RX seems to suit my needs..

Can those who have used them answer some of my questions?

1 - if you were to make a purchase again, would you buy the same product or what other make / models would you recommend?

2 - Is there anyway a ring flash can be attached to the battery?

3 - would you op for the Lithium battery model?

4 - will other make of soft boxes / light modifiers easily fit the Elinchrom heads with an adopter ring or I am stuck with Elinchrom ones?
