congratulation for a successful homecoming with lots of nice memories.For sure the X100 is the best travel companion one can take if wanting to travel reasonably light and still have great IQ, looking forward to see more. The wide lens for sure can come handy but than it adds again to the portability of the camera and you have to leave the front cover off from the pouch.
