Wonderful captures Jolene!
I like them all but, the Nuthatch does it for me. All very sharp and with excellent WB.
The noise at 800 iso with the D300 can use a litte sumpin sumpin during post but, it's not a deal breaker by any means with good exposure and WB.
I use to shoot my 300mm VR with the TC14eII at f6.3 with plenty of DOF. Now, I'm using the 600mm VR and I keep kicking myself to stay at f7.1-f8 when the subjects are near for enough DOF.
