Surface pro for photography

I just read a few reviews. It doesn't have video in, just mini Display Port out. I'd love for the Surface or iPad to have video in, it would be great to use as a reference monitor for video.

I could attach a 2nd screen to it and use that one while my stylist uses the Surface Pro screen, but it's a bit underpowered for D800 files along with running ViewNX, Camera Control Pro, Photoshop, email, music player, PowerPoint and Acrobat (for shot lists and art direction examples).

I wonder how upgradeable it is, apparently the SSD is mSATA. Here's to looking forward to the Surface Pro 2.
