D800E noise reduction

After processing D800E images for about 10 months, I today realized I could have done a better job.  I had set my picture control setting sharpening to 2.  Not thinking I had also set my high ISO NR to normal.  Even at ISO 100 Capture NX uses a value of 1 for NR.  It really should be zero.

Setting sharpening to 1 and NR to zero gives a better result - far less halo, and selective sharpening with smart sharpen in photoshop gives a nice crisp result for details.  Oh well, live and learn.
