Price wise, the 28mm f1.8 looks good but it does not feel good on the D4. Just a personal preference... Also, not sure if the 28mm would be too wide for street and lifestyle stuff. Thoughts?

My feelings also, I just couldn't get past the light and somewhat cheap feel of the 28mm f1.8, but I'm sure it's an excellent lens. As soon as I put it on the camera it made my D800 feel unbalanced so I returned. I also decided that the 35mm range will be better for street photography - at least for me.
