As per DxO, the 6D measures a stop better at the pixel level and two stops better at the image level. Still pretty amazing, btw.

There is a lot more to photography than DxO scores, or pixels, for that matter. My point is that in real life photography high ISO is really usable on the 6D. When browsing my real life images in LR it is hard to tell what pictures are taken at different ISO speeds. I guess the controlled conditions of the DxO lab is not representative of real life photography...

In real life the high ISO capabilty of the 6D means that you can shoot with faster shutter speeds, either to freeze motion or - coupled with a bit narrower aperture - to get razor sharp images. COOL...
