Thought on Macro Filter/Lens for beginner?
Feb 9, 2013

Hi, I am an amateur enthusiast and recently bought a 650d. I been shooting for a few months now and love the camera. I also bought few lens, 50mm 1.8 for portrait and 55-250mm for some tele. These lens suppose to set me good until i can save up for L sense but I am now thinking of experimenting with macro. I looked around the forum/amazon and I find that beside dedicated macro lens, There are things such as Macro Filter or lens use to magnified subject for "macro" shot.

The one is most recommend is the Raynox 250 for is $80 on amazon and that pretty steep for me considering i paid around 100 bucks each for the 2 lens. Will i be better off saving a bit more for cheap dedicated macro lens used or get that raynox to pair with the lens i already have?

Canon EOS 650D (EOS Rebel T4i / EOS Kiss X6i)
