Even granting that some individuals are far more perceptive and sensitive than I am, in regard to camera images and images in general, your characterization of the lens strikes me as at best premature, and also something well within the control of the user. So far we have seen samples from various users of this camera, each with their own intention. Each of has to decide the best camera for an intended purpose.

Conversely, we could propose that detail, once lost, or never captured, is lost forever.

The world is full of lenses and sensors that are not very sharp. Perhaps they are more inviting.
