difference between AF on liveview vs. EVF

Matt, like all other said, there isn't any difference in EVF and LCD, they're both live view. However, once you engage focus magnification (either in EVF or LCD) you activate the main sensor Contrast Detection AF and cut off off-sensor Phase Detection AF. If you see different sharpness (in focus) that means you have lens/camera mis-focusing issue.
