A friend of mine in Brazil asked for a V1.

Since I had been very happy with expansys service, I ordered another camera.

As did happen to the previous one, this one had a problem either. ( And some say faulty nikon cameras are rare lol. 2 nikon cameras ordered . 2 faulty ones ).

This one had the following problem . When i switched the camera on I got a LCD message : " lens error. Please contact nikon service ".

And the LCD screen went dead.

I repeat : 2 cameras ordered , both came faulty.

I returned the first one and another came, 100% all right.

Now I have ordered a second camera for a friend and this one also faulty.

I returned it.

I do not believe its all bad luck.

So far I recommend expansys service though.

Exactly because there are so many faulty cameras out there, I recommend a service that does accept returns with no problems.

If you hadn't already returned the second camera, I would have suggested swapping batteries and lenses with your first to locate the issue.

Hi : Actually I used the battery of the first camera in the second camera.

I did not swapped lenses thought..,since  I feared to screw  my  working camera.

I had that idea of changing lenses.., but balked at it for the reason I gave.

I thought it was more secure just to  return the camera that after all was not working properly.
