5N recent firmware - more than what was publicized?

I did the 5N update last night and it feels better auto focusing quick at 55 zoom and dim conditions. Can this be included in the AF stability description? Also the white balance seems better in mixed lighting from both incandescent and neon bulbs at the same time, or when dark outside with a fresh coat of snow. I'll have to test the white balance more. This is the first impression after the update. I got the feeling that Sony did more in the firmware than what they publicized to update, otherwise they would recognize that more needed to be updated. Anybody else got similar feeling?
