Any new Leica mirrorless rumors?

I have been patiently waiting for an announcement from Leica regarding their rumored mirrorless system. I thought the president of the company made a statement early last year that they would have something to show by photokina 2012 but alas, that did not happen. An interchangable lens X2 with a built in viewfinder would fill the very large price gap between the X2 and the M-E in my opinion. I just wanted to see if anyone had heard any recent rumors about that. Thanks.
