It's probably better than you think it is.

The Phillips TN panel on that Lenova probably cover approx. 91% of sRGB, with better viewing angles than you get with most TN panels.

The IPS panels on most competing models (e.g., the HP Envy series with their optional 1080p displays) from a color gamut perspective by a significant margin, as they can't cover anywhere near the 91% sRGB you see from the TN panels used in some of the Lenova models.

See the tests in this review of a Y580 (and it's my understanding that the Y480 uses the same type of TN panel display technology, although I can't confirm that).
