Rokinon/Samyang 8mm f/2.8 fisheye does Caribbean Sailing Festival

Just got this lens for my NEX-6 and did a few test shots around the house.

Aside from the tip for Grid Line setup of Diag. + Square Grid, are there any other tips or suggestions for shooting with this lens.

Have not shot manual focus for a long time, and think I saw somewhere on this forum that you could set this lens at f8 and one meter, and just about everything would be in focus.  Do you recommend DMF or MF setting for this lens?

Any suggestions would be appreciated...
