Canon, on the other hand, is into so many businesses they can continue in the camera market even if all they can do is break even with it. Right now Nikon has better cameras/sensors, but Canon has the stronger system IMO. At the moment, I like Canon's future better than Nikon's.

I know I don't take his opinion like I used to. He is very negative and he is spending more and more of his time on non-Nikon products. That inevitably means his knowledge on Nikon products is eroding.

I respect your point Scott...but it's hard to ignore the raw numbers Thom serves up. We shouldn't count Nikon out but any means, but it's hard to see how Nikon, like Apple, can continue to grow given current dynamics. I hope I'm wrong though.
