Participants in DPR's fora come from all venues of life and diverse countries/cultural backgrounds, so some gaffes are bound to happen.

I am asking for your help about whether or not asking someone to grow up should be considered civil or confrontational.

Also, does it depend on the perceived relative authority of the transmitter and receiver?
