Lens dilemma for NEX 5R (Travelling)

In my experience with my 55-210mm, it's not exactly the sharpest lens -- particularly if you plan to use it for landscape.  That's not to say that it's not capable, just that I prefer to use the 55-210 more for people, portraiture, and animals.  Given its long FL, it doesn't ​seem​ like you would need it -- unless you're trying to capture landscape where you're blocked by fencing or other barrier.  But even then, you could still utilize the Sigma 30mm and crop down.
