Comparing AF speed of Sony RX1 and Fuji X-E1

I read a comparison by Steve Huff of a.o. the AF speed of the Sony RX1 against Fuji's X-E1.
The conclusion was that, after the firmware applications developed by Fuji for the X-E1, that the RX1 and the X-E1 AF lock equally fast in good light and in low light. I watched a video by Steve Huff showing his testing and proving this.
This is good news because it seems to confirm that the AF problems of Fuji have been successfully dealt with by the company.
I am considering the purchase of the X-Pro1 and would like to know whether the AF problems in this camera have been taking care off in the same way as Fuji did in the X-E1? In other words that the X Pro1 is now capable of AF locking at the same speed and accuracy las the E-x1.
If this is indeed the case then I don't see a reason at all to keep talking about the X-Pro1 having an AF locking problem!
