The rumor seemed to me to indicate 43rds lenses, not u43rds. Not sure why they would do that. I want to see the following u43rds fast zooms:

12-35mm f2.8

35-100 f2.8

100-300 f4

What's the point of being redundant, as stated earlier those lenses already exist, there's no need for non-IS versions. There are only a few configurations that would make Olympus offers competitive, the most reasonable of which would be 12-45mm f2.5-4 and secondly a 45-150 f2.8-4.

Taking into account that a possible hybrid 4/3+m4/3 camera might be coming, possibly with better handling for 4/3 lenses, the demand for huge native lenses is very low (if it wasn't already), we need compact fast zooms (as counter-intuitive as it sounds). Fuji was able to make a reasonably small fast zoom, for APS-C no less, Sony was able to shrink their kit zoom, meaning a fast zoom could be made as big as their non collapsible kit zoom, same goes for Pany, they were able to significantly reduce the size of the 14-42, this all sums up to the fact that fast zooms can be made the size of regular old kit zooms. In fact, just look at the old 4/3 14-54mm, if you take away the adapter, the volume is not much worse than the pany 12-35mm (which has OIS). A relatively compact 12-45/50 f2.8-4 is certainly doable.
