When I said that they were probably Sony sensors, the 3 BMagic people's looks on their faces told me they were from Sony.

Yes. They neither confirmed or denied what I had said, so I was making an uniformed assumption, but I wondered why they all look "sheepish" when I made the Sony statement. But it's really neither here nor there...
Everyone at the presentation was really impressed with the concept and price point of this camera regardless of the production snag.
