You haven't proven much. The D3200, if you restrict yourself to what it can do, takes good pictures. Wooo hooo! Every lousy camera ever sold does that!

What if you need to bracket exposure on some object that is going to exist for only 1 second and never re-occur, which might be the case with wildlife photography. What if you want a high speed sequence of at least 10 pictures in a two second period (a very common thing with sporting events). What about using lenses like the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D, or the 135mm f/2 DC AF-D, that have a character all their own... and will not auto focus with a D3200.

There is a long list of features available on other camera models. About all one can say is that except for the price tag, the D3200 isn't a good choice for much of anything. And of course if the price tag is the key issue then it is a simply fabulous camera!

This just goes back to the infamous and ubiquitous claims that a good photographer can make great pictures with any old lousy camera. It's true, but when asked to make a great picture of some specific thing the good photographer does NOT grab just any old lousy camera, they grab the best camera for that job (which is almost always a very expensive top of the line model).

treat d3200 for what it is..nikon's least expensive dslr..it is not a high speed sports camera designed to capture "a high speed sequence of at least 10 pictures in a two second period".nikon specifically say that d3200 will only af with af-s lenses.for my high speed shooting i use my 8fps d700/d300s.for slow shooting, static subjects d3200 is excellent.get over it
