Hi Kim,

Just be aware that the Sony 18-250mm lens uses a screw drive for autofocus. If you plan to use video then selecting the Sony 18-135mm or the Sigma 18-250mm will be a quieter choice.

Note that recent Sony cameras will correct for optical imperfections of "Sony" lens in camera. Yet another factor to consider in lens selection.
