Yes, I realize that it's a Wi-Fi SD card, and that others exist on the market. But I already have SD cards and was wondering about the F800EXR specifically. At this time I have no need for a Wi-Fi card. If I were a pro and wanted to provide images quickly to customers, it might make sense to buy one.

That Fuji software at this stage is just for Android and iOS. That's why I think the wi-fi SD card is a better option.

Yes, I would agree.

What I like about exiftool is that it supports all cameras, not just Fuji cameras. I receive a lot of images from friends, and nobody but me owns a Fuji camera.
