7D worth selling nikon gear for?

So I have a friend who may be selling his Canon 7D to me for maybe 400 dollars.  Its in great working order with no issues.  Right now though, I currently own a Nikon D7000.  I enjoy the camera but i find the auto focus lacking as well as I'm really tired of dealing with NEF files.  I just wish i could get my out of camera settings without having to use Nikon's own software.  I also really enjoy the clarity that my friend gets out of his 7D.  I think if I did get it i would probably go for a 10-22 lens and a 18-135 out of the gate as thats what I can probably afford.   My nikon gear currently consists of D7000, 50mm 1.8D, 18-105mm, 10-24mm, 55-200mm, sb700 speedlight, Nikon 3rd party grip.

Is it worth it?
