I totally missed answering you , you wanted to know how hosts can figure anything meaningful out, right?

- hosts see the voter ID, and can see the quantity of votes per star attributed to that ID.

With a little checking of the vote patterns, per photo and the place where the ID did not vote low, and seeing the same thing happen in other challenges with the same voter ID, we can get what looks like real proof of who is doing some of the double identities or voting down everything other than their own.

Barb, I have said this a couple of times already, but have not had a response.

If a host were to require all entrants to just one time post the time they voted as a comment under the entry voted on or be DQ'd, the host could then match the anonymous ID with the real ID by matching the time posted with the time in the photo's vote record. The host would then go on to see, for example, how Tim A2 cast his votes.

Plus if the host required voting on all entries they could see who didn't comply. Any action taken or not would be at the host's discretion, but it would probably be best to DQ any entrant who didn't post a time voted.

The Entrant name isn't published until after voting is complete, I assume that this is to make entries anonymous This anonymity would be void if your suggestion were implemented as each entrants name would appear with their comment.

Yes everyone would know that person had a photo entered in the challenge, but only the the hosts would know which photo.

Thanks for the reply.

Tim
