Very interesting technique and great results.

Signal to noise ratio. 1 image = same noise, over and over again. Many images and the signal is the same, but noise is random from image to image. Many slightly different images of the same object give same signal, but the random noise and artifacts will cansel themselves out. Google stacking if this does not make any sense to you. My tech. english is not that good.
