SX50 - Some more birds, etc.

Just wanted to share a few recent shots. The hawk is a regular visitor, always perching near the top of a tree that is about 100 feet away. I think he is attracted by all the small birds, chipmunks, and mice drawn to the seed we put out. He probably thinks of our place as the best buffet in town. I have taken many shots of him and other hawks in that tree; this is one of the few keepers.

I don't know why I like this picture. I'm not very good at expressing why I like a photo - I just get a feeling of "Yeah, I like this."  Someday I hope to be able to look at a picture and analyze it properly, a bit more than just "Yeah, I like this."
