jpg save option

The file size is about 3-4x bigger when saving jpg in 100% rather then 90% in quality. Sometime the file size of the 100% is even bigger then the original. Is it worth to save in 100%. It looks like by saving in 90% we loose a slight depth in color but no deterioration in detail.
