Does contrast detect autofocus in live view work accurately with this lens on a D800?

A while ago I returned the Sigma 150/2.8 OS Macro because live view focusing was completely off. The same was true for the Tamron 180/3.5 Macro. Perhaps they fixed the issue with the new lens...
