Nikon's cameras more weather resistant than Canon?

This is a good article, they had nearly every brand of camera in Antarctica from Sony to Hasselblad, and it wasn't even that cold. My understanding is the 5DM3's are sealed a little better than the M2's, but based on how poorly the 5DM2 fared, I would be worried to take a 5DM3 out in poor conditions.
