Well, you are welcome to speculate wildly about data we don't have available...

We do know that the X10 in EXR 6 MP mode adds another 1.66 to 2.0 EV dynamic range on top of what DXO measured at 12 MP. And personally I do know how _handheld_ EXR 6 MP compares to handheld m4/3 of my Olympus E-M5 in extreme DR situations after both are resized to same resolution. And on DxOmark the E-M5 beats the RX100 by a larger margin than the RX100 beats the X10.

So who's doing the speculation and who has first-hand experience with how the EXR sensor competes against larger and higher resolution sensors?!

Ok...you have totally botched this demonstration. You've got an E-M5 and X10 (both have data on DXOmark) and you shot the same scene, same lighting. However, according to your exifs, you shot the E-M5 w/ 13mm * f/4 * ISO200 * 1/400s, and then the X10 w/ 7.1mm * f/4 * ISO100 * 1/100s. Well, from DXOmark, we find that @ ISO100, the X10 is actually at ISO124, and while @ ISO200, the E-M5 is actually at ISO107. So essentially, you have underexposed the E-M5 by -2.3EV and then pushed it +2.3EV in post to match the X10!! And you wonder why the shadows in the E-M5 don't look so hot by comparison???
