Which is it? And if it is, according to your definition, above Nyquist, then what are the red arrows pointing to? Are these "delusions" or are these "lines" very much indeed like the ones in the photograph below Nyquist? Or, are they simply artifacts from the tooth fairy to make me "think" that they somehow resemble information "about the scene?"

No, I see several "lines" - not "something" that looks like part of a line.
The "target" was done by professionals who make their livings reviewing cameras. It's certainly not the "only" target which has been photographed by professionals reviewing cameras and they "all" depict "lines" above indicated Nyquist. If you think all reviewers are wrong and all have improperly photographed their targets then perhaps you are the one being delusional?

I ignore nothing. The statement was that "there is no information about the scene above Nyquist." Lines are about the scene. Lines are above Nyquist. Therefore the statement is false.
He tried to make a simplified statement and You are the one that seems to want a simple statement,
but You seem to love nitpicking words instead of discussing the evidence of the influence of aliasing below Nyquist - You Yourself provided a well suited example, or not?
Rewrite his sentence in "there is no reliable information about the scene above Nyquist" and You are done.
No matter how you attempt to obfuscate, the unavoidable and rational conclusion is one of the below:
...just look left, right, above and below the region You have pointed to and You can see,
what I already wrote - the traces of aliasing, obfuscating the true information - even below nyquist!
1. None of the visible lines are above Nyquist or....
2. These are not really lines - just figments of imagination.
3. Nyquist theory is incorrect
4. Nyquist theory does not apply here
5. Take your choice ... Either blindly adhere to the theory, or use your brain and eyes and attempt to determine whether it applies at all, is incorrect or what. All the engineering speak, theory and obfuscation can not overwhelm the simple evidence presented to the contrary.
6. You seem to refuse to see and / or You can't see the obvious traces of aliasing and this theme is about aliasing - isn't it?

It seems to be above Nyquist and You see something that looks like a part of a line,
but You also see, that the target isn't resolved properly much earlier - even at 28, probably due to aliasing...
...beside that You never know, wether the tester made a mistake in regard of the proper distance of the target, to get nyquist at the right position.
The thing You pointet at is just a region, where the energy delivers the highest dynamic due to interference (between the energy below and above nyquist) - please read and try my stone example:

You could also point at several regions nearby, where nothing like a line is visible, instead of knowing, that there must be a line...
...You just selectively choose the part of the picture that fits to Your view and ignore the nearby evidence for the opposite...
