Not knowing what your standards are, the AF speed according to me is good enough. I've shot candid low light pictures of people playing at a ping pong bar without any real issues (latest firmware 2.03). I don't miss my Panasonic GH2, Canon 5D2, or 60D one bit when the X-Pro1's quality and feel of its pictures is first rate. I never had any problems with the Auto-ISO since purchasing the camera in December and I have no real input on the RAW playback magnification--probably because it doesn't bother me since I don't notice it. I shoot JPEG+RAW. Do I wish everything was a bit snappier? Of course, but everything is manageable to me.
I love my X-Pro1, and I love the surprises people get after seeing the quality of their images from a retro styled camera. I do recommend getting a half case to bulk up the grip as the grip accessory is ugly. This camera system is the best investment I've made so far in the photography world.
It is very true - good enough is an exact term that apply.
