Similar lists, tweets, mails repeatedly sent to Fuji... Fuji does not bother with customer demands. They're there only to fix "engineering defects" of their own design, not requests.

So, quit hoping. As I did long time ago.

:))

I think they listen, just that they need to prioritize what should be in the firmware for the life cycle of the product. They added a whole bunch of new features in the X10 2.0 firmware. They could have just leave it as-is and put them in X20.

Since we have a few more new lenses coming this year and also before any new release of the X camera, I think we may see more firmware updates when new lenses are released, hopefully not just added lens compatibility, but new and improved features as well.

The latest FW has really improved the AF accuracy with an updated CDAF algorithm. Now I can use my 35 1.4 lens with aperture wide open and I have far more keepers than before.

They only half listen

and don't give any reasons or explanations for omissions.

whereas an American company like apple at least communicates the reason why things flash isn't supported, japanese companies don't bother nor grasp the concept of star value and importance of software .

youre part of the western market and they don't really care what westerners want.

but they are happy to release a new hardware model with all of those features after all why waste time writing perfectly usable and logical software?

especially when your target market is "weird" has a low rate of pc ownership, lovee hello kitty, condones panchira and willing to buy soiled schoolgirl underwear from vending machines.

I really wish leica would mass produce
