Sell 24-70 2.8L and 24-105L for 24-70 2.8L II?

I quite like my 24-70 2.8L, it gives pleasing results most of the time, I hardly ever use the 24-105 but do appreciate it as a travel lens and the fact it has IS. I have read the rave reviews on the 24-70 2.8L MkII. I could sell both my lenses and buy the MkII and was wondering if anyone has done what I am thinking about and what their thoughts are on making the change? Is the MkII so much better than version 1 that it is worth loosing the 24-105?
