Thankyou. They are far stiffer than you may think. The small angled cleats top and bottom stop any flex. The laminated curves have zero movement. They actually can out far better than I expected considering this was my first go at making laminated curves from scratch.
For those interested there's a full build thread I started here.
I made my stands of 2"x 4" beech, the 2" sides front facing, just to minimize the chance of low frequency vibrations of the boxes in front-back direction. My XTZ Mk2 speakers sound beautyful on them...
