Hi Jen003,

Yes, sandbagging (and vote manipulation) is alive and well in the challenges. As a host, I can see when a voter has been allotting numerous .5's to my challenges, but since I don't have access to his/her name, and only his/her randomised number, I can do nothing about it. Yes, I can complain to DPR Head Office, but so far no-one has EVER replied to my grumbles. The only tool in my kit is to ask every entrant in my challenges to vote, thus minimising the low-lifes, slugs, who sandbag the best entries. Ruth

Ruth, I think you might be able to control sandbagging by entrants if you require all of them to vote, possibly on all entries and log in one time with a comment stating the time they voted. You could then match that time up with the matching time in the voting record and from the individual's histogram see how they voted overall. Just the fact they would know this was a possibility would be a big help. They wouldn't know if the gun was loaded or not. Plus think of all the votes you would get.

That would require some time, of course. It could be the time spent dealing with size rules and such would be better spent doing the above. Unless you are a perfectionist you wouldn't have to spend time tracking the good guys. You could also reduce the number of entries to save time. Better to have a smaller challenge with many visible votes. The volumn would also help dilute the multiple ID voting.
