300 cd/m^2 vs 400 cd/m^2

I am buying a second monitor for my system.  My current Monitor has a brightness of 300 cd/m^2.  The one that I am looking at adding is 400 cd/m^2.

This monitor is my first choice.  I want to try to make this work before I go another route.

So, my question is: how large of a difference is the 300 vs 400 readings?  Is this something a Spyder Pro can calibrate  to balance?

Thanks
