Paging DSTE MB D12/En EL18A Owners

I was just going through a 7 month old thread, about the grip from DSTE, along with the En EL18A version of their batter which is 3900 mAh, which sounded like it was performing well during the time.

I wanted to ask how has the experience been, everyone who owns this combo, over time, how long does the battery hold charge, hows the grip been working and if they have found any other flaw over time apart from the LV issue, which I noticed on the thread. My D800 comes in tomo(very excited), and I'd most likely be purchasing this grip and the EL 18 battery for the higher fps.

If anyone has found a better option, or prefer any other please give your opinion too.
