Apple dropped USB in favor of Apple-dock.

Nexus 10 and Kindle Fire HD (both Android) have micro HDMI, but as far as I know, not USB.

Nexus 7/10 has micro usb. Pretty much all portable electronics (in Europe at least) are required to have the same for charging purposes. I hook my nexus 7 up to a usb card reader to check stills on a much larger size screen whilst in the field.
