Travel camera: Nikon V1 or Canon G1X? What is the better option?

Besides the good points mentioned in favor of the Canon camera above, I must add that this camera buys into the Canon Speedlite system for growth and advanced flash technique options. And the viewfinder (optical!!!) is nice.
