I agree but also feel the needs you thought about when you bought the camera were based on realistic expectations of what was possible at the time. I understood the E1 was noisier than the other options but we were talking about usable iso 400 vs usable iso 800. No one expected usable iso 6400 when I bought that camera. My e-1 still works but also has the same limitations it had when I bought it. Newer models have less limitations.
