Your exposures and focus are nice.  In my opinon; outdoor lighting should look more natural.  Let the sun be your key light using some type of gauz or coated mylar to soften the sun light.  Position your model so that the softened sun light makes pleaseing shadows on the model then fill the shadows with your umbrella flash.  You must make the flash the right strength to fill the shadows but not eradicate them.  Give it a try.  I want to see what you come up with.
