Airbus does it again
Airbus industries just raked in an order for 25 XWB A350 and 14 A321 air-planes, coming from ALC, a company which rents out planes to airlines. The amount of the order is estimated at some 9 billion US$.
The XWB A350 is a very serious competitor for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner.
JAL has already announced it will demand compensation from Boeing but will wait until the full extend of the grounding costs are known. JAL has had to review and reduce flight schedules, losing lots of business.
Will Boeing survive the Dreamliner disaster ?
