14-24 or 24-70 ?

Don't wish to state the obvious, but these are really different lenses. I have had them both for a while now, and currently using them with a D7000 and a D800. I have had little or no flare issues with the 14-24 and consider the 24-70 to be one of my sharpest zooms.

A great quote by one reviewer was that the 14-24 was his favorite lens that he used the least. It's a hard lens to get used to, and generally, very generally, I have found the 24-70 to be more useful overall. If I could have one, thats the one, but I really like having both in the inventory. I consider them both good choices.
