OK,so what's this something special on the Pentax FF?

Swappable front plate -- essentially a full-functioned adaptor built into the camera body. Default is K mount (of course), but also offer 645, M mount, and a new, next-generation mount more suited to mirrorless bodies.

(No, I don't really expect Pentax to do this, but I think it's an interesting idea. )
