Several years ago back when the LCD screens are small and grainy, I talked with a fellow that said he was a pro photographer. I gathered he made his living at it so that is pro enough. Anyway, he had one of the fancy Nikons. Whichever it was at the time.

He was very disdainful of the LCD review. He said he didn't need it and that the LCD was just for setting the menu. If you knew what you are doing...

I imagine that may have been a fairly common point of view. As people transitioned from film... Now, I figure that fellow's point of view had changed and he does review on the internet LCD.

Screens can be turned off and they can be flipped around but the experience of not using the screen for review would be better, for those that still would not want to review, if there were no screen.. With a screen turned around, you still have the possibility of review. A safety net! With no screen it is just you and the barrel and Niagara Falls .   Whatever the result, you initiated the process and made the decision all on your own.

So, it might be neat to have a no review camera and maybe at some time there would have been more people that would have considered getting it right with no review the mark of really being in touch with the process... But not so much now...
